7. Scott Pilgrim Takes Off

Without a doubt, a lot was riding on Scott Pilgrim Takes Off. Because the film and novel were such great masterpieces they seemed like they didn’t need any additional installments for both new and veteran fans.

With so many installments, fans questioned just how this Netflix original series was going to outdo the others in terms of story, character work, and, of course, production. Nevertheless, our worries were in vain, as this anime went above and beyond any of our expectations.

Like many, we loved how Scott Pilgrim Takes Off shined a light on characters we didn’t know too much to begin with. We got to learn more about what Wallace, Scott’s roommate, would be up to whenever he wasn’t with Scott; we learned a bit more about Julie Powers and her love life; we even got to see the many times Ramona Flowers dyed her hair. We just adored how the anime expanded upon things we either didn’t know or knew little about!

Although we don’t know much about the future of this anime, we’re super glad that the 2023 title left a good impression on us. So much so that we’re crossing our fingers that we receive a sophomore season!

8. Migi & Dali

If you’re looking for an anime that will have you laughing until you cry, please look no further than Migi & Dali!

This anime showcases how strong the bond between siblings is, in that Migi and Dali, twin boys, did everything in their power to ensure that they were still living together even though only one of them was adopted from the center. Being identical to one another helped this a lot, especially when they both wanted to eat dinner but only one could be at the dinner table.

There are tons of more memorable funny moments, such as when the two went camping and had loads of fun or when we watched how they calculated a smart way to get adopted in the first place. All in all, Magi & Dali is a perfect watch for those who want something wholesome, funny, and is, all around, a damn good time.
