Two beloved heroes last seen in Marvel's What If...? stories are set to make appearances in the upcoming Avengers movies, and their stories are nothing short of legendary according to rumors from Marvel Insider Alex Perez.

During an episode of the Cosmic Circus podcast, Alex P. gave us a glimpse into the ongoing projects and plans keeping Marvel Studios busy. According to Alex, we're set to see two of Marvel's most exciting characters appearing in Avengers 5: Captain Carter and Kahhori.

Captain Carter made her dazzling debut in the Disney+ animated series What If...? and made a brief live-action appearance in Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness. Imagine if Peggy Carter, the fierce and fabulous SSR agent from the original Captain America movies, took the Super Soldier Serum instead of Steve Rogers. You'd end up with the badass Captain Carter, a superhero with the same unyielding spirit and kick-butt attitude but with a British twist.

In her alternate reality, Peggy steps up to the plate and dons the Union Jack on her vibranium shield. She fights Nazis, takes on HYDRA, and even battles a tentacled cosmic monster, all while looking utterly fabulous. Her leadership skills, bravery, and sharp wit make her a natural-born leader and a total fan favorite. And now, it’s been reiterated that she'll be joining the ranks of the Avengers in the upcoming movies. It's about damn time.

Now, let's talk about Kahhori. She’s a fresh face in the Marvel Universe, but her potential is sky-high. Kahhori is an original character created specifically for the What If...? series. She's a young Native American woman who becomes imbued with the power of the Tesseract when it falls into her hands during an alternate timeline.

Kahhori's journey is all about embracing her newfound powers and using them to protect her people and her land. She’s got a fierce sense of justice and a deep connection to her heritage, which makes her story unique and incredibly compelling. Plus, her powers, derived from one of the Infinity Stones, add a whole new layer of excitement and mystery to her character.

If Avengers 5 was to feature Captain Carter and Kahhori, it'd mean we’d be in for a wild, multiverse-spanning ride. The inclusion of these two characters hints at some major storylines involving the Multiverse, where different realities and timelines collide in spectacular fashion. Marvel Studios’ Multiverse Saga is already shaping up to be a mind-bending adventure, and with the next big convention promising to reveal more, we’re on the edge of our seats.

The addition of Captain Carter and Kahhori suggests that we’ll be seeing heroes from various realities joining forces to tackle threats that no single universe can handle alone. With Captain Carter’s strategic mind and unbreakable will, paired with Kahhori’s raw power and fierce determination, the next Avengers movies are set to be unforgettable. We can speculate about interdimensional battles, epic team-ups, and perhaps even some multiverse mishaps that bring these two extraordinary women to the forefront.

Alongside the excitement, there’s also news that Marvel is opting for a quality-over-quantity approach. This means we might see some release date delays as the studio focuses on crafting top-notch stories and spectacular visuals. While delays might sound like a bummer at first, it’s actually great news. More time means more polish, better storytelling, and movies that truly do justice to our favorite characters.

At San Diego Comic Con's Hall H, we’re hoping for more hints, teasers, and maybe even a trailer or two that give us a glimpse into this grand adventure. Until then, let's keep our eyes open because the Marvel Multiverse is about to explode with endless possibilities.
