Batman: All 10 Robin suits ranked from worst to best
5. Batman and Robin suit
Worn by: Chris O'Donnell
Batman and Robin brought Chris O'Donnell back as the Boy Wonder but the suit that he previously wore in Batman Forever did not return with him. While that one was a more armored approach to the Boy Wonder's comic book look, the 1997 sequel opted to give him more of a Nightwing-esque suit instead.
The Greek-God physiques were a staple of the Schumacher Batsuits, and the new design allowed for us to see it much clearer, along with the infamous Bat-Nipples. In the midst of all of that was a large red bird insignia that spread its wings across the chest and ran into both shoulders and down the arms. DC Comics fans no doubt recognized it as being a nod to Nightwing's symbol, and that kinda makes sense given that much of Batman and Robin's plot revolves around Dick Grayson wanting to go out and fight crime by himself - something his comic book self eventually does as Nightwing.
This suit doesn't get enough love. No, it's not a Robin suit and I can see the criticism there, but it would make for a pretty great Nightwing suit. The red and black color scheme is gorgeous, too, with the bird really popping against the darkness of the rest of the suit.
Sure, Batman and Robin got a lot wrong, but this Robin suit wasn't necessarily among those mistakes.
