He's back! Fresh off returning to the most famous role of his career (when he returned as Batman in The Flash), Michael Keaton is reprising his second-most-famous role, also for the first time in over 30 years, as he brings back the wacky, outrageous, out-of-this-world Beetlejuice.

Yes, the juice is indeed loose, as Keaton and Burton reunite on the sequel nearly 40 years in the making, and they aren't the only returnees from the original movie, as Winona Ryder, and Catherine O'Hara reprise their roles for Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice. They will also be joined by franchise newcomers Jenna Ortega, Willem Dafoe, Monica Bellucci, and Justin Theroux.

If you'd like to know a bit more about the cast of the original, specifically those who are back for the sequel, here's what you need to know about the ages they were then, and the ages they are now.

Michael Keaton as Beetelgeuse

Born: September 5, 1951
Age when Beetlejuice came out: 36
Age today: 73

Michael Keaton was already a huge name by the time he starred in Tim Burton's Beetlejuice in 1988 at 46 years old, but his career would soar to new heights after that. The duo reunited the very next year on Batman, and even though Keaton's casting was somewhat controversial at the time due to his comedic chops, he has gone down in history as perhaps the greatest actor to ever don the cape and cowl. The two would then collaborate again in 1992's Batman Returns.

Keaton has enjoyed an incredibly successful career in the decades since, experiencing a major resurgence in the past decade due to his critically-acclaimed, Golden Globe-winning performance in Birdman. He recently won an Emmy Award for his role in Hulu limited series Dopesick, returned to the role of Batman in The Flash and now reunites with Burton again on Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice.

Winona Ryder as Lydia Deetz

Born: October 29, 1971
Age when Beetlejuice came out: 16
Age today: 52

Winona Ryder was just 16 years old when she portrayed Lydia Deetz in the original Beetlejuice movie, and what a remarkable career she has had in the years between it and its sequel. After the 1988 movie catapulted her into stardom, she appeared in a number of major productions, such as Heathers, Edward Scissorhands (which reunited her with Burton), and Bram Stoker's Dracula.

With an incredibly successful career to her name (that includes a Golden Globe win and multiple Oscar and BAFTA nominations), she also experienced a major career resurgence within the past decade due to her role as Joyce Byers on Netflix's juggernaut series Stranger Things. Not only did it introduce her to a whole new audience, it allowed her to deliver some of the finest work of her career, and fans can't wait to see her do it all again in the fifth and final season.

Catherine O'Hara as Delia Deetz

Born: March 4, 1954
Age when Beetlejuice came out: 34
Age today: 70

Catherine O'Hara is best known for either playing Kate McCallister in Home Alone and Home Alone 2: Lost In New York or Moira Rose in Schitt's Creek, but her work on Beetlejuice was one of her earliest performances. It wasn't long after that that she landed the Home Alone role, for which she would become synonymous with throughout the majority of her career.

O'Hara has remained a constant of the silver screen throughout the past few decades but, much like we also saw with Winona Ryder, her regular role on Schitt's Creek from 2015 to 2020 reintroduced her to a whole new audience. She'll continue to appeal to new generations with her upcoming role in HBO's The Last of Us, while also returning to one of her original roles in Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice.

Geena Davis as Barbara Maitland

Born: January 21, 1956
Age when Beetlejuice came out: 31
Age today: 68

Geena Davis has one of the most recognizable names in Hollywood history and Beetlejuice is just a part of that legacy. She had previously appeared in Tootsie and the game-changing horror The Fly, alongside Jeff Goldblum. The same year as Beetlejuice, she won an Oscar for her performance in The Accidental Tourist, rounding out an amazing first decade of her on-screen career.

After an equally successful start to the '90s, which included her iconic Oscar-nominated performance in Thelma and Louise, she took a break from acting and eventually transitioned into television, which has included a leading role in Commander in Chief as well as recurring appearances in Grey's Anatomy.

Davis is not returning for the sequel.

Alec Baldwin as Adam Maitland

Born: April 3, 1958
Age when Beetlejuice came out: 29
Age today: 66

You might be forgiven for not immediately recognizing Alec Baldwin behind those glasses as Adam Maitland in Beetlejuice. We didn't know then that he was about to enjoy one of the most successful careers of the '90s and '00s as Beetlejuice was one of his first major movie roles, coming after regular roles in soap operas The Doctors and Knots Landing.

Chances are that you've seen Alec Baldwin in more than one movie for he has become one of the most recognizable actors of his generation. He gained prominence in 1992 for his performance in Glengarry Glen Ross and in the 2000s, he appeared in the likes of The Cooler and The Departed. Like many actors of his generation, he made the jump to TV (or back to TV in his case) in the 2000s as well, starring in NBC sitcom 30 Rock.

Like Davis, he won't be back in Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice.

Jeffrey Jones as Charles Deetz

Born: September 28, 1946
Age when Beetlejuice came out: 41
Age today: 77

Jeffrey Jones was one of the oldest actors on Beetlejuice and had already appeared in the likes of Amadeus, and Ferris Bueller's Day Off. He portrayed Charles Deetz in the movie, the father of Winona Ryder's Lydia Deetz, and subsequently appeared in the likes of The Devil's Advocate, and HBO series Deadwood.

He won't be reprising his role in Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice as his character has been killed off, with his funeral serving as the driving force behind the movie's plot as it's what brings the characters back to Winter River.
