3. Kang is introduced

Marvel Studios, known for its knack for building up to colossal threats, has kept fans on the edge of their seats as we wait to see who will be the next big baddie. After the fall of iconic villains like Loki and Ultron, Thanos set a new standard for villainy in the MCU. After Thanos' defeat, the big question was who would be the next force of nature to fear. This curiosity was partly satisfied in Loki season 1, which introduced Kang, He Who Remains, as a formidable baddie, hinting at an impending Multiversal War. But the actual magnitude of the threat didn't quite hit until Kang's defeat in Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania.

The “end” of Kang the Conqueror was literally just the beginning. As we were teased with the appearance of the Council of Kangs, led by figures like Immortus, Rama-Tut, and the Scarlet Centurion, the MCU braced for an even more ominous chapter. This mid-credits Quantumania scene was a game-changer, not just introducing a new villain but hinting at quite the lengthy list of Kang variants, each potentially more dangerous than the other. The scale and implications of this incoming new war has fans filled with excitement and speculation about what epic battles and stories lie ahead in this next phase of the MCU.
