3. Bill Murray and Michelle Pfeiffer’s roles in Quantumania

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania was quite the ride, but not all of it was smooth sailing, especially when it came to the characters Bill Murray and Michelle Pfeiffer played. Now, these two are Hollywood royalty, no doubt, but even the best can have an off day (or movie, in this case). Bill Murray, known for his charismatic and often improvised style, seemed to be in a different movie entirely. His character felt like a puzzle piece from another box, never quite fitting into the intricate MCU jigsaw. His scenes, instead of adding the classic Bill Murray charm, unfortunately came off as oddly disconnected and, quite frankly, cringey and annoying.

Then there's Michelle Pfeiffer, an actress of undeniable talent and grace. Yet in Quantumania, she felt strangely out of place because her character was poorly written. It was as if Janet Van Dyne was walking through the Quantum realm in a daze, missing the spark that Pfeiffer usually brings to her roles. Instead of the strong, dimensional character we expected, Janet lacked the depth and energy that could have elevated the film - she took forever to even warn anyone about Kang for absolutely no good reason, and she never explained anything about her lengthy stay in the Quantum realm unless the time called for a weird trick or random nod. In a universe filled with larger-than-life characters, she unfortunately didn't soar but rather hovered a bit too close to the ground, unable to take flight in this installment of the MCU.

Verdict: We wish we could forget these moments
