2. Scarlet Witch confirmed dead after Multiverse of Madness’ ending

Marvel’s confirmation of Scarlet Witch having sacrificed herself and perishing in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness struck a chord with me and other fans, sparking a wave of disappointment and frustration. For many, myself included, Scarlet Witch had become more than just a character - she was someone we can relate to, a symbol of resilience, power, and complicated emotions. Her journey through the MCU, marked by both tragedy and triumph, had resonated deeply with viewers and fans.

The decision to end her arc in such a definitive manner left me feeling a mix of disbelief and anger, quite honestly. It wasn't just about losing yet another favorite character (RIP Tony Stark, and Loki became the God of Marvel) - it felt like losing a piece of the heart that had given the MCU much of its emotional depth.

On one hand, it makes sense - the woman is pretty much unstoppable. She’s both the strongest Avenger and the most powerful villain in one - it makes sense that only she could stop herself. But on the other, the tragic end to her arc was just more tragedy for a character that was given far too much of that.

Verdict: We wish we could forget this moment
