Every comic book reader loves reading the fights. We enjoy seeing heroes battle villains and each other, especially when they're dream fights. For example, there’s Captain America vs Iron Man (Marvel Comics Civil War) and Wolverine vs Cyclops (X-Men: Schism). But sometimes heroes take a day off and do normal things. They’ll go to a bar, go to birthday parties, or, in this case, go to the mall. And that's okay, too.

In the recent pages of DC Comics, Superman and Wonder Woman take a break from their problems on Earth to do something for Batman. With his birthday coming up (in the comics and his 85th anniversary), Kal-El and Diana Prince venture to the largest shopping complex in the universe. The Andromena Mall (located at exit 37 of the square root of Highway 2 in sector 2814) 594, 838 stores. Their motto is, “If you can’t find it here, there’s something wrong with you and you should seek medical care immediately.” Unfortunately, the person who came up with that slogan never shopped for Batman.

The two Justice League heroes spent most of their time debating on what to get Bruce Wayne. However, everything they came up with didn’t seem right. Things like a family trip to Jupiter, a Robo-Robin, and kittens were all thrown out. Eventually, they tried doing something for themselves to come up with the perfect gift. They had coffee, went to a 5-D movie, and Superman made puns. Overall, it was a joyous trip out (even if Superman was attacked a couple of times).

Eventually, Superman and Wonder Woman settled on something that made Bruce Wayne smile. They went into a photo booth and took silly pictures holding a note that said, “Happy Birthday Batman.” They seemed happy about the gift, but Kal-El and Diana agreed to crush a piece of coal to give Batman. Bruce loved the picture but gave the diamond to The Wayne Home for Wayward Orphans.
