1. Superman

Was there ever any doubt?

When it comes to the most powerful members of the Justice League, Superman has got to be at the top spot.

The Man of Steel is an alien from the planet Krypton who inherits powers due to the planet's yellow sun, which charges his cells and allows him to showcase some stunning abilities, including flying, super strength, insane durability, super hearing, heat vision, and even freeze breath. They don't say "faster than a speeding bullet for nothing"!

The DCEU iteration of Superman has all of those things and more, proving to be one of the ultimate warriors of the shared universe of superheroes. With his bulletproof skin, monstrously effective punches, and focused mindset, he's a hard opponent to defeat - which certainly didn't come as a surprise to the comic book fans used to seeing him win. While the only drawback to this particular version of the character is that he wasn't used nearly enough, the Man of Steel has defeated Zod, and he also played a pivotal role in the defeats of Doomsday, and Steppenwolf.

Superman is the DCEU's strongest hero and a worthy member of the Justice League, even if the movies didn't always highlight that. We wish we got to see him in action a bit more.
