2. Smallville

Smallville may have taken some liberties with Kara's human storyline, but it deserves credit for giving us perhaps the most comic-accurate version of Supergirl thus far. The show introduced her in its seventh season when she awoke from suspended animation in her ship to find that her baby cousin had now physically outgrown and out-aged her. Nevertheless, she had spent much of her time on Krypton as an adult and thus she was more susceptible to Earth's sun, making her more powerful than Kal-El.

Like her comic book counterpart, "Kara Kent" was much more aggressive than Clark Kent, holding nothing back whenever she went up against her opponents. This much was clear when she and her cousin first crossed paths and their actual run-in left Clark reeling. Of course, this could also be a curse, as she needed to learn to adapt her approach, learning the same kind of patience that Clark had taught himself, as well as the importance of secret identities.

Laura Vandervoort also nailed Kara's edgier attitude, with added to the character's portrayal. The only thing that prevents this Girl of Steel from ranking higher is that she hadn't quite mastered her abilities, as she spends much of season 7 learning how to control them - something that is made clear early on when she begins having the same struggles with her heat vision that Clark had much earlier in the show. But when it comes to raw power, she might just be the strongest.
