Superman has been a staple of the silver screen since the 1970s, but he's been a regular presence on TV for far longer. It all started with a movie serial in the '40s, before the Man of Steel made himself at home on the small screen in an iconic TV series that helped establish the DC Comics heavyweight as a household name. Since then, he's been a fixture of both mediums, and so many more.

Adapting Superman for movies and television obviously comes with challenges, as each production has to find unique and exhilarating methods of bringing the crime-fighting Kryptonian to life. Nevertheless, it has been pulled off time and time again, from the classic movie serials to the acclaimed Superman and Lois TV series.

That being said, which of those productions have featured the strongest Men of Steel? We know the super being is charged by the yellow sun, but each one of them have displayed various levels of power over the years, which often leads to some debate as to which one of them is the strongest.

With that in mind, let's fly into Superman's filmography and find out which version of the world's most famous superhero really is the the most powerful.
