DCU star switches sides by joining Marvel series

DCU star Xolo Maridueña joins the second season of a popular Marvel series alongside a list of big stars.

Blue Beetle star Xolo Maridueña is switching universes by joining the cast of the upcoming second season of the Marvel animated series Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur.

Maridueña joins an incredible list of actors lending their voices to the second season including Jonathan Banks, Cynthia Erivo, Giancarlo Esposito, and Alex Newell to name a few. Marvel is ever expanding and with its animated films and series, it has given a more free realm to allow actors attached to live-action roles to play in a different suit for a change without conflicting with their ongoing live-action duties.

Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur series follows Lunella Lafayette, a young girl with genius-level intelligence, and her adventures with Devil Dinosaur, a large red dinosaur from the prehistoric past. Together, they navigate various challenges, often involving other Marvel characters and villains. The series has been praised for its unique premise and engaging storytelling.

Xolo Maridueña is an American actor best known for his role as Miguel Diaz in the television series Cobra Kai, which is a continuation of the Karate Kid film series but it wasn’t until his Blue Beetle debut that he really became a household name. Maridueña is a great and charismatic actor who fits perfectly into the superhero world. He’s proven to handle the big screen and small screens now it is time for him to showcase his voice acting talents in the popular Marvel animated series on the small screen.
