Deadpool & Wolverine may have looked extremely promising ever since its first teaser trailer was released but even then, many fans couldn't help but have reservations about it. After all, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been in a slow but steady decline ever since Avengers: Endgame premiered. So if history were to repeat itself, then the latest Ryan Reynolds movie could prove to be - against all odds - disappointing. That's why many were waiting for early reactions to flood in and discover if the MMCU's recent losing streak was finally broken or not.

Fortunately, that day is here.

So, let's talk about the elephant in the room. Is the one and only MCU movie of this year looking to be a success? Or will it be a letdown once again? Well, rest assured because Deadpool & Wolverine not only appears to be a fantastic movie, but a true love letter to the X-Men franchise as a whole. Yes, people are claiming it's that good. But before we dive into the early reactions, it's important to know that everything we're about to break down is spoiler-free so no surprises will be ruined! And with that out of the way, let's dive right into it.

Deadpool & Wolverine is heartfelt, violent, and full of surprises

Ever since Disney acquired Fox, people wondered if the House of Mouse would tone down the violence and strong language of the Deadpool movies. After all, Disney is known for making family-friendly content and not R-rated projects. But it seems the third entry in the Deadpool franchise retains the tone, violence, and jokes that made previous movies so beloved and iconic.

Besides, people are really blown away by the cameos the movie has in store. We all knew to expect big things in this regard, but even then Deadpool & Wolverine may overdeliver. Fortunately, the surprises won't detract from the plot. Instead, they will be in service of the story which is the ideal way to go. So this is your reminder to go into the movie as blind as you can for maximum entertainment!

Much to no one's surprise, people are comparing Deadpool & Wolverine to the likes of Avengers: Endgame. The reason for that is the movie's scale and how it serves as a tribute to the Fox X-Men franchise. Additionally, it seems it has a lot of nostalgia points going on for it. So if you grew up with X-Men movies, then this one may just make you tear up.

Need more reactions? Here they are!

If the reactions above weren't enough to hype you up, then let's look into some others. And remember; everything that you're about to see is spoiler-free, so don't worry about any surprises being ruined!

ComicBook.com's Brandon Davis references the film's action and its very Deadpool mix of violence and humor, adding that the movie is a lot to process (but seemingly in a very good way!).

All in all, it seems audiences are in for a funny, violent, cameo-filled, and heartfelt ride. Fortunately, it's just a matter of days before we finally get to watch Deadpool & Wolverine as the movie premieres on July 26, 2024.
