This jaw-dropping Deadpool and Wolverine theory reveals how they arrived in the MCU

The Deadpool and Wolverine trailer may have hinted at Logan and Wade Wilson fighting in the final battle during Avengers: Endgame.

The Deadpool and Wolverine trailer has arrived and it's amazing. The creative team behind the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe film gave fans more than a trailer; they gave them an experience.

For example, finally seeing glimpses of Logan fighting Wade Wilson was everything anyone could hope for. This is the battle fans wanted to see in X-Men: Wolverine Origins (but didn't get it), and the best part about it is that these are only just clips. This fight in the movie will be even better.

Like any good trailer, Deadpool and Wolverine's left viewers with questions. Among them is where Wade and Logan went to at the end of the trailer.

Deadpool and Wolverine may have fought alongside the Avengers in Endgame

At the end of the trailer, both Logan and Wade are jumping into (or at) a magic portal. It looks just like one of the portals that Doctor Strange and Wong use to move from place-to-place. Since the Time Variance Authority is involved in the movie, it would be understandable if viewers thought the formation was one of their portals, but the TVA’s time-traveling devices manifest like doorways. No, this is a sorcerer's magic portal. And with that, it leaves this writer to think that either Stephen Strange or Wong were bringing Logan and Wade into the final fight during Avengers: Endgame.

Remember, the final battle of Avengers: Endgame involved Strange, Wong, and the Sorcerers opening countless portals to different locations, countries and planets, in order to assemble a team large enough and strong enough to take down Thanos' army. It made for the biggest team of Avengers we had ever seen. The question is: Did those portals extend to alternate realities, and could it have brought Deadpool and Wolverine into the MCU?

Marvel Studios needed a way to bring Deadpool and Wolverine into the Marvel Cinematic Universe in style. The first step was involving the TVA in their story. The organization's existence means the duo can travel to any universe, which is possibly what they will do during the movie. But if they do end up in the MCU's earth, that doesn't explain why they stayed or visited it in the first place. Having Doctor Strange call them into the fight against Thanos, however, that's exciting. Sure, we didn't actually see it happen during Avengers: Endgame, but it would be a retcon that people will love.

You’re probably wondering, “If Wolverine and Deadpool are in the MCU, why haven’t we seen them until now?” I’ll leave you with this. During She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, an article that Jennifer Walters was reading states: “Man fights with metal claws in bar brawl.” This could confirm that Wolverine never left the MCU after the battle, and that he's still potentially there. Or maybe Wade and Wolverine go to Logan's universe to take it back from the villains. Either way, Deadpool and Wolverine will make their MCU debut in July - and we can't wait.
