Disney+ is adding 20 new movies and shows in April including Wish and more X-Men '97

Get ready for an exciting month at Disney+ as there are a lot of amazing things to look forward to in April including the release of Disney's newest animated movie and new episodes of several incredible Disney+ original series!

Of course, the biggest new addition for the month of April is Disney's latest animated masterpiece Wish, which will make its streaming debut on April 3 just in time for the entire family to enjoy the movie during spring break! The film follows idealist Asha, who makes a wish so powerful it's answered by Star, a cosmic force and ball of endless energy. Together, the unlikely duo must team up to save the kingdom of Rosas from a power-hungry king.

Wish is sure to be a top pick for families this April and the perfect movie for the little ones to enjoy when it arrives on the first Wednesday of the new month!

Of course, for Marvel fans, the biggest highlight of the month will be the arrival of new episodes of X-Men '97 every Wednesday in the month as season 1 unfolds with weekly episodes! While Disney has not dropped synopsis information for the episodes ahead, we do know we can look forward to four new episodes over the course of the month.

The series is truly one of Marvel's greatest original series, masterfully celebrating what fans of X-Men: The Animated Series loved about the original show and again captivating audiences with incredible storytelling and animation.

Over the span of the month, fans can also look forward to many amazing new additions including the final episodes of The Bad Batch season 3 which will lead up to the season finale in early May. Disney+ also has planned some amazing Earth Day programming additions with a pair of nature documentaries voiced by Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Blair Underwood. And there are also a few new Bluey specials coming as well for the little Disney+ fans to enjoy!
