I hope your calendars are marked for June 13th, because you're not going to want to miss this season of The Boys.

Last week, I had to keep my fangirling to a minimum as I interviewed some of the incredible cast of one of the best and most violent shows I've ever watched. As I virtually sat down with Erin Moriarty, Claudia Doumit, and Karen Fukuhara, we talked about the show's new season and the sheer amount of crazy you're not ready to witness in just a few more days.

You can watch the entire interview below:

As I kicked off the interview, the excitement in the room was palpable. I started with the basics, asking how these wonderful beings were doing. Their energy was infectious as they giggled and responded, with Claudia Doumit asking me, “We’re doing great. Thank you. How are you, you wonderful being?” Let’s be real, nothing beats starting your day with such positive vibes.

I couldn’t help but share my recent binge-watching escapade and confessed to binging the entire season four in the last 12 hours. Their reactions were priceless. Erin Moriarty and Karen Fukuhara seemed a mix of impressed and disturbed, while Claudia's eyes widened. “Oh, my God. Are you ok?” she asked, genuinely concerned. Karen and Claudia laughed, clearly amused by my dedication as I explained that during my earlier chat with the show's creator, Eric Kripke, he had asked me the same thing. We dove into discussing their stellar performances in the new season and how the three of them specifically put on such a wonderful performance. As I told them that there were some specific scenes in this season that were just mind-blowing, Erin, Claudia, and Karen beamed with pride, expressing how the phenomenal writing made it a joy to perform.

Then, it was time for some fun hypotheticals. I asked Erin who Starlight would have a heart-to-heart with from another TV show. Erin lit up, pondering the intriguing question. “Wow, that’s a lot,” she began, clearly deep in thought. After a brief pause and some playful banter with Claudia and Karen, she settled on Elizabeth Moss’ character from The Handmaid’s Tale. The idea of these two resilient characters having a conversation about perseverance was fascinating.

Next up, I turned to Karen, asking her if Kimiko could finally verbalize her thoughts, what would be the first thing she’d say, and to whom. Karen didn’t miss a beat. “She would talk to Frenchie (...) and then she’d say, ‘Take me to France, let’s go, let’s leave this shit show!’” she declared with a laugh. The image of Kimiko and Frenchie escaping to France was actually pretty adorable.

Lastly, I challenged Claudia to describe season four in three words. She thought for a moment before replying, “A total shit show,” which sent us all into fits of laughter. The chaos, the drama, the sheer unpredictability – her description was spot on. Also, "Wow, such pain" is also a very valid way to describe this season.

As our time came to an end, I thanked them for their incredible performances and for taking the time to chat. They expressed their gratitude, and we wrapped up with cheerful goodbyes. It was a fantastic, lighthearted conversation that truly captured the essence of their dynamic and the energy that these fine ladies bring to the screen.

The fourth season of Prime Video's hit The Boys will begin streaming on June 13th. Trust me when I say that you do not want to miss these episodes.
