Green Arrow: All 4 Oliver Queen actors ranked from worst to best

Honorable mention: Grant Gustin

Grant Gustin may have played The Flash on The CW's Arrowverse series, but he did get an ever-so-brief chance to play the Green Arrow during one of the annual Arrowverse crossovers. Elseworlds saw the Emerald Archer and the Scarlet Speedster swap lives, gifting Barry Allen with an unlikely opportunity to be Oliver Queen.

While the pair's personalities didn't change all that much, they did eventually realize that the way to defeat Amazo was to behave like each other; and thus Gustin swapped out Barry's light-heartedness for Oliver's broodiness, grunting his way through multiple lines and adopting a much moodier approach. The result was genius.

I also want to say that seeing Gustin in the Green Arrow suit while making joyous quips really did highlight that he would have been a great choice to play a more comic-accurate Oliver Queen. He had the character's unserious personality down to perfection without even trying and it was a joy to watch.

Yes, Stephen Amell was perfect for the more serious portrayal of the character that Arrow was going for, but if we ever wanted a more comic-accurate Oliver Queen, someone should consider giving Grant Gustin a call.
