It's been a long wait for House of the Dragon's return to our screens, but that wait is almost over. Yes, the highly-anticipated sophomore outing of HBO's Game of Thrones spinoff series is about ready to spread its dragon-sized wings on televisions around the world and to say fans are ready for it would be a major understatement.

The show was a huge success when it first premiered in 2022. It was expected to be, but there was some trepidation after the negative response to the conclusion of the original series. And with its monumental premiere, it was proof that GoT-Mania was still alive and well. That mania continues, as the show was just renewed for a third season before its second has even begun, showcasing how much HBO clearly still believes in the franchise.

Speaking of season 2, if you're ready to catch up with Emma D'Arcy's Rhaenyra, Matt Smith's Daemon, and the other memorable faces as the Targaryen legacy begins to unfold, here's what you need to know about when the second season premieres in your neck of the woods.
