The second season of House of the Dragon is officially halfway through. In that first half of the season, there have been shocks, twists, eyebrow-raising moments, and a lot of heated discussions. It's been a tense couple of weeks in Westeros, but hey it's always tense in Westeros and you won't find many greater examples of that than the past few episodes of the Game of Thrones prequel series.

The disagreements over the true Targaryen heir continue, as Rhaenyra's genuine birthright to the Iron Throne has been usurped from her by her brother Aegon. Though Alicent may have now realized her error, she believes it's too late to change that, and thus the war has well and truly commenced. But with the Greens and Blacks locked in this war, those around them will continue to lose no matter who actually wins.

After the most recent string of stunning episodes, here's when you can expect the next installment of the blockbuster series.
