How you can watch The Boys season 4 online
By Mark Lynch
The last time Amazon Prime Video released new episodes of The Boys, things were getting worse than ever. First, Homelander killed a protester and his fans cheered him. He may have said he can do whatever the (censored) he wants, but this proved it. What’s scarier is Ryan (Homelander’s son) smiled after. He’s started to understand that the world is his playground and people are his toys.
On the side of things are The Boys. Annie January (formerly Starlight) left The Seven and joined Butcher, Hughie, Frenchie, Kimiko, and M.M. in their fight against Vought International and Homelander. Before the team could settle into things, Victoria Neuman announced that she was running with Robert Singer as the Vice President of the United States. Butcher immediately says that Victoria Neuman has to go.
As if things weren’t bad enough, Butcher has less than a year to live. The Compound V he took in season 3 has taken years off his life. The season ends without him telling The Boys what’s happening to him. However, In the clip you can see below, Homelander finds out. As you’d expect, he enjoyed what was happening to Butcher.

What to expect from The Boys' new season
There’s a lot to know going into this season of The Boys. First, Butcher has a biological weapon that can kill all the Supes. It’s similar to what he had at the end of The Boys comic book series. This happens at the end of season 1 of Gen V. During one of the trailers for the upcoming season, Butcher tells his team he wants to use it and Annie calls Butcher's plan desperate. Nevertheless, Butcher will likely do whatever he wants.
Speaking of Gen V, when will the characters from that show make their appearance on the mothership series? One of the trailers shows Cate and Sam in Vought Tower. Since they’re the new Guardians of Godolkin, they’re probably being prepared to join The Seven. Meanwhile, Cate and Sam’s former friends are in an unknown location. Hopefully, we’ll find out where they are and what Vought has planned for them.
Lastly, The Boys’ season 4 trailer shows Sister Sage (played by Susan Heyward) talking to Homelander like she’s coaching or manipulating him. Is this hinting at her powerset or does she not have superpowers and simply makes an impression on Homelander? Either way, Sister Sage could be the MVP of season 4.
