People all over the internet love to discuss fictional battles. Superman vs Thor, Deadpool vs Harley Quinn, and Wolverine vs Batman are examples. Recently, a new fight has entered the arena. Who wins a fight between the former God of War, Kratos, and the Incredible Hulk?

Who knows where this started, but it’s one of the best battles to be presented. Both competitors have advantages. The Hulk has his seemingly endless strength. Kratos is a demigod with decades of fighting and strategic experience. The Hulk is more cunning than people realize and Kratos has underrated speed and agility. The Hulk has his fists and healing power and Kratos has his weapons.

When it comes to this fight, the answer is simple. It depends on which Hulk Kratos is fighting.

Devil Hulk

He may not look it, but this Hulk is stronger than the normal Hulk. Thor said so after he was hit so hard he got a concussion (Immortal Hulk No. 7).

His name (Devil Hulk) is appropriate. He has a reputation for being devious and fighting dirty. He's also willing to do things that most people are to. He once had acid on his face, ripped it off (face included), and threw it at his opponent (Immortal Hulk No. 24). As tough and adaptable as Kratos is, he doesn’t have enough to beat this particular personality.

Winner: Devil Hulk

MCU Hulk

The Hulk from the Marvel Cinematic Universe doesn’t stand a chance. First, we know Banner Hulk isn’t mean enough. Kratos would destroy him. The barbaric Hulk fares better, but he’s not skilled enough. Thanos beat fifty shades of green out of him at the beginning of Avengers: Infinity War. That was only with his fists. Imagine what Kratos would do with the Blades of Chaos. He wouldn’t even need to get close to him to win.

Winner: Kratos

Joe Fixit

This fight would be closer than you’d think. Joe isn’t as strong or durable as the others, but he makes up for it with street smarts. That and he’s not afraid to use guns and Kratos hasn’t experienced those weapons. Thankfully, for the former God of War, he’s smart enough to block with his shield instead of trying to take the bullets. Joe would also hire goons to fight for him and see how Kratos fights. Nevertheless, once Joe’s out of ammo and henchmen, Kratos wins.

Winner: Kratos

World War Hulk

There isn’t a comic book character alive that beats the World Breaker. He defeated the X-Men solo (World War Hulk: X-Men). There are entire teams that can’t say that. He took on the power of a million exploding suns and kept fighting. Then there’s him stomping in New York. If he kept stomping, he would have destroyed the eastern seaboard (both happened in World War Hulk No. 5). As much as I like Kratos, even if he had the power of the gods, he loses.

Winner: Hulk

Maestro

Lastly, we come to a future version of the Hulk. The Maestro is the last superpowered being standing in a post-apocalyptic world. He rules with an iron fist and to the victor goes the spoils. And, when it’s time to fight, he isn’t always hands-on. He can fight. He just chooses not to. That’s where Kratos’ advantage comes in.

Maestro can go years without raising his fists. Meanwhile, Kratos never stops fighting. As people have seen in the games, he enjoys battling. That means his skills are always sharp. This ends with Maestro decapitated with Kratos’ axe.

Winner: Kratos

Who do you think wins between the Incredible Hulk and the Greek demigod, Kratos? Are these assessments accurate?
