So many amazing titles won well-deserved awards that only further cemented their legendary statuses. Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 wins Anime of the Year!
Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 taking home the grand prize for the second time doesn't surprise us, as this is the anime that keeps on giving.
It's emotional, fulfilling, and, sometimes, super hilarious. But at the center of it is a wholesome protagonist who just wants to ensure the people around him are living happy and healthy lives and will stop at nothing to try, even if his attempts are futile. The sophomore season exemplified this beautifully.
Gege Akutami's masterpiece continues to surpass everyone's expectations, which is why we're very content with Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 winning Anime of the Year. And when the third season eventually comes around, we wouldn't be too surprised if that season also secures the same title.
Only time will tell!
And there you have it, all the anime awards given to some of the best anime titles of 2023! Be sure to head to Crunchyroll to stream all of the above titles and stay tuned with Bam Smack Pow for more anime updates!
