Al Ewing has already written a classic story with “Immortal” in its title. That comic book was Immortal Hulk. Now, the Marvel Comics writer has taken that same word and brought it to the All-Father Thor (Immortal Thor). Like Immortal Hulk, Dario Agger (the CEO of Roxxon) is a big part of the story. This time, the Minotaur CEO is going to ruin the King of Asgard's life differently. He purchased The Asgardian God of Thunder’s intellectual property and will change his story.

At the end of Immortal Thor No. 4, Agger is holding a Thor comic book and talking on the phone. He tells his employee that he will be the Skald (Norse poet who tells stories). Agger plans to retell the story of Asgard and make his group of Asgardians. His comic book will be called Roxxon Presents: Thor. This will bring in a new group of Asgardians. Among them, of course, is Thor. This one has a different look. Judging by the picture, a different personality as well.

At the end of Immortal Thor No. 6, Agger is reading a tale that Loki is telling Thor. As he's reading, the Minotaur notices that the story keeps changing. That's when the readers see The Enchantress and Executioner. She tells him to keep reading because the prize at the end is the Mighty Thor. This appears to be the beginning of the Age of Roxxon.

Readers complain that stories don’t change. Thor fights Loki, rinse, and repeat. Now, Loki is being honest with Thor. He's not just his worst enemy. He's also someone he can trust. This may seem like the typical story, but, the God of Stories could become his brother's savior.

Dario Agger has fought Thor (both Odinson and Jane Foster) and lost. You have to appreciate the change in tactics. Instead of trying to beat him in a physical fight, he uses his head and his unlimited bank account. As Loki has explained time and again, stories have power. Reimagining Thor’s story will change the way people look at the All-Father. While it won’t stop him from fighting for what’s right, it will make the All-Father's life harder.
