4 Marvel shows that definitely won't be back for season 2
She-Hulk: Attorney At Law
When She-Hulk: Attorney At Law debuted its first trailer, the questionable CGI drew a lot of attention. Marvel touched it up and improved it for the show's eventual release on Disney Plus, but it became clear very quickly that having a show devoted to a Hulk was going to be expensive, even if it follows the format of a low-budget sitcom.
The show was well-received by audiences but there have been a lot of questions about its future. For starters, a show with this format very easily could return for a second season. It's one of the best examples of a Marvel Television show because it doesn't feel like a multi-part movie. It's not film on TV; it's just TV, and it's one of the few MCU shows that actually made that transition seamlessly. And yet, it's been two years without any renewal.
What there has been, however, is multiple reports of a cancellation. In fact, star Tatiana Maslany essentially confirmed as much when she told fans that she doesn't think season 2 will happen, adding: "I think we blew our budget, and Disney was like, ‘no thanks!"
The good news is that the character of Jennifer Walters, a.k.a. She-Hulk, is expected to return in Avengers: Doomsday and / or Avengers: Secret Wars. Multiple scoopers and insiders have claimed as much, adding that the character will be an important part of the franchise going forward (along with other elements of the show itself) but that the She-Hulk series won't be.
