MCU: All 16 Avengers ranked from weakest to strongest
1. Scarlet Witch
Wanda Maximoff joined the Avengers as a young, grieving woman with abilities unlike anything the MCU had ever seen. Her powers, seemingly given to her from the Mind Stone, allowed her to induce nightmares and fears, while also bound her enemies and producing energy blasts. But WandaVision revealed that her powers actually came from within and were simply amplified by the stone, allowing her to fulfil her comic book destiny by becoming the most powerful being to ever set foot in the MCU.
The Scarlet Witch's powers are limitless. She's a sorceress of Chaos Magic, capable of creating worlds and realities full of moving parts and life (and tearing them down just as quickly). She can destroy beings in creatively macabre ways with just a flick of her fingers and bring down far more seasoned magicians by simply outthinking them. Granted, her ability to destroy things so effortlessly in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was imbued by the Darkhold's corrupt power, but to deny that she would be capable of such a display without it would be a grave mistake.
She can also hold her own in a fight with her fellow powerful beings, but even then, the chances of them getting close enough to make that happen are very, very unlikely. From defeating the Captain Marvel of Earth-838 to holding her own with Thanos before she had unlocked her full power, the Scarlet Witch has already proven herself as a force-to-be-reckoned with in the MCU.
It still feels like the surface has only been scratched with the character, and the truth is that with her limitless powers, she could take on anyone. Kang had better be ready.
