Every X-Men ranked from weakest to strongest

Good or bad, there are X-Men with incredible powers and abilities out there, but there can only be one to take the number one spot.

6. Deadpool

Let's talk about our favorite chimichanga-eating merc with a mouth, Deadpool, who snags the number 6 spot on the list of the 18 strongest mutants.

First off, Deadpool isn't your typical hero - he's more like that one friend who can't stop cracking jokes, even in the face of danger. But don't let his endless banter and love for chimichangas fool you - this guy is as tough as they come. Thanks to his incredible healing factor borrowed from his unwilling bestie Wolverine, Deadpool can recover from just about anything. I'm talking about a guy who can reattach his own head and walk it off like it's a stubbed toe. This makes him nearly immortal, a handy trait when you're constantly getting into scraps with bad guys, or, you know, accidentally chopping off your own limbs for laughs.

Now, why isn't he higher up on the list, you might wonder? Despite his impressive healing abilities and being a top-notch fighter with swords and guns, Deadpool's powers are pretty much localized to, well, not dying. When you stack him up against mutants who can control the weather, manipulate time, or read minds, our beloved Deadpool's skill set starts to look a bit more like a party trick than the ultimate power. Plus, his somewhat... unpredictable nature makes him a bit of a wild card. Sure, he's got the brawn and the brains (hidden very, very deep under layers of sarcasm), but in the grand scheme of things, his strengths lie more in his resilience and less in the kind of overwhelming force or strategic advantage that the top-tier mutants possess.

While he's definitely a force to be reckoned with, in the powerhouse lineup of the X-Men universe, Deadpool comfortably sits at number 6, striking the perfect balance between being incredibly hard to kill and just chaotic enough to keep things interesting.
