Every X-Men ranked from weakest to strongest

Good or bad, there are X-Men with incredible powers and abilities out there, but there can only be one to take the number one spot.

13. Iceman

Iceman, a character who is literally as cool as they come, ranks at number 13 among the 18 strongest X-Men in the movies.

Bobby Drake, aka Iceman, isn't just your average mutant with a knack for making your drinks chilly - though he'd probably be my best friend. This frosty fellow has a power set that's both visually stunning and supremely useful, capable of generating, manipulating, and literally becoming ice. You might think, "Hey, that sounds pretty powerful," and you'd be right. However, in the grand scheme of things, especially when you're lining him up against mutants who can manipulate time and reality, or even wield telepathic powers that can bring the mightiest to their knees, being a human ice machine, though a very cool one (pun intended), places him there and not higher.

Now, don't get it twisted - ranking 13th does not mean Iceman is a slouch. In the X-Men cinematic universe, he's shown doing everything from creating ice slides that allow for rapid transit (who needs Uber when you can slide your way through the city?), to encasing enemies in blocks of ice. These are no small feats. Plus, his eventual evolution into his ice form hints at a potential that's as vast as a winter wonderland. But this ranking also considers the untapped potential and the limitations seen within the film adaptations. While the comics go deeper into the extent of Iceman's powers, making him one of the most powerful mutants theoretically, the movies have yet to fully embrace this frosty powerhouse's chilliest and most badass possibilities and only have him at Elsa level.

So, for now, he's coolly cruising at number 13, waiting for his chance to freeze-frame himself higher up the list.
