The sophomore season of Mashle: Magic and Muscles is underway and, as always, we're rooting for our magicless protagonist, Mash Burnedead, to prove to the world that you don't need magic to be strong.

As it stands now, Mash is in the throes of the Divine Visionary Candidate Exam, which aims to discover the next Divine Visionary. He wants nothing more than to win, but not for the title, just to prove that he is simply built differently and doesn't need to do things the typical way to make his mark in the world. Of course, this is easier than done, as Mash is competing against people who are just as strong as him.

New episodes of Mashle season 2 release every Saturday at 9:00 a.m. PST/12:00 p.m. EST on Crunchyroll.

Both the English sub and dub versions of the anime are available on the streaming service, so you don't have to worry about not having your preferred version of the title on the platform. Also, other languages (German, French, Spanish, etc.) of the anime are available, too!

While you don't need a subscription to watch early episodes of the anime, you will need one if you want to watch new and upcoming episodes. Be sure to subscribe as soon as possible!

Since the first season of the anime had only 12 episodes, our best guess is that the second season will have the same number of episodes. What's more, knowing that this sophomore season is only covering the Divine Visionary Candidate Exam arc, 12 episodes are more than enough to adapt this arc.

With this in mind, expect season 2 to conclude by the end of March 2024. Or, at the latest, early April.

Naturally, we're hoping that there will be more episodes for fans. But for now, it seems 12 episodes is the most likely number.
