Do you hear that? No, that's not Godzilla, that's just me and my kids doing a happy dance.

As a big fan of AppleTV's Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, hearing that showrunner Chris Black, in an interview with TVLine, is optimistic about a season 2 is like getting an early birthday present. "This show has done very well so we’re optimistic and excited. We feel we have more story to tell.”

The show's been a thrilling ride so far, combining that awesome MonsterVerse action with a deep, emotional family mystery and so much drama. It's great to hear that it's been doing well and that there's hope for its renewal.

The thought of more stories to explore in this universe is super exciting. The latest episodes have been dropping some insane revelations. Lee Shaw's time travel twist and finding out Keiko Randa is still alive? That's the kind of stuff that keeps us glued to our screens! And now, with only one episode left in the season, I'm on the edge of my seat waiting to see how they wrap up all these major events.

I'm really curious about where season 2 could take us. There's so much potential, especially with the Hollow Earth and weird rift/time travel elements. It could shake up everything we know about the MonsterVerse. Plus, the fact the show serves as a bridge that connects Godzilla from 2014 and the 2019 movie Godzilla vs. Kong is incredibly neat. It's like the pieces of a giant puzzle coming together.

Monarch: Legacy of Monsters is such a fantastic addition to the Legendary MonsterVerse. The way it ties things up and explains the lore a bit more, following the Randa siblings' journey to uncover their family's secrets is so engaging. It's like a blend of sci-fi, action, and a deep, layered story.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a season 2 confirmation soon!
