It's been almost nine months since Yellowjackets season 2 ended its run on Showtime, and we've been going through withdrawals. It's such an intense show that keeps viewers on the edge of their seats with each episode, and we're more than ready to hop back on this wild rollercoaster ride. After that shocking season 2 finale, we absolutely must see how the story continues in the third season.

But unfortunately, it's going to be quite a while before we see all our favorite Yellowjackets back on our screens because Yellowjackets season 3 won't be coming out until 2025. We would've seen the third season come out in 2024, but production was delayed due to the actors and writers strikes. The last update we had about the third season was in October 2023, when it was revealed that the writer's room was back open. It's unclear where the show is in the filmmaking process now, but the cameras should start rolling on the new season soon.

So, what do we do in the meantime while we wait? Well, what we've decided to do is rank some of the most disliked characters in the series from least to most disliked. If you're curious to know which Yellowjackets characters made our list, all you have to do is continue reading.

10. Lottie

I didn't care too much for teen Lottie at the beginning of the series, but she grew on me as the show continued. I began to understand her more. In my opinion, it seemed like all teen Lottie wanted to do was be helpful to her teammates in the wilderness. While some girls wanted to be in control and be the leader, it was just given to Lottie. She didn't want nor ask for it. Being the leader put constant pressure on her, with the girls coming to her for answers. But Lottie was figuring it out as she goes. This is why she had poor judgment at times. We also have to remember that she was just a teenage girl, and her visions were all new to her. Before the crash, she had been taking medicine to subdue her strange visions.

She could be selfless at times as well. Remember when she let Shauna basically use her as a punching bag to take out her anger? Overall, teen Lottie was empathetic and compassionate. There's only one moment I can think of where I thought teen Lottie was in the wrong, and it happened in the "Doomcoming" episode. It's when she led the hunt to get Travis. She wasn't acting like herself at all. It was as if something evil was possessing her. But I don't think we can fully fault her because she was high on shrooms as well as the other girls at the time. Also, all the girls were starving and highly intoxicated from drinking copious amounts of alcohol. They weren't in their right minds at all.

When it comes to adult Lottie, I honestly felt bad for her because she had to spend years in a mental facility in Switzerland because she was so in distress after being rescued from the wilderness. When she finally got out, she decided to start anew by creating a mental health retreat to help other people out. While initially led to believe that she was up to no good there, her retreat turned out to be a good place. The only bad thing I can say that adult Lottie did was push to do a sacrificial ritual like she and the other Yellowjackets used to do in the wilderness. She still holds on to the belief that if they sacrifice someone, the darkness will go away. But can we really fault her if she's mentally unstable?
