6. Misty

The main reason why I view Misty as one of the most disliked Yellowjackets characters is because she's literally the reason why the Yellowjackets were left stranded in the wilderness. After finding the crashed plane's flight recorder, she decides to destroy it and pull out the wires. Now, there's no way for them to be rescued. She did this because she had overheard some other survivors saying they'd be in trouble if they didn't have her. Misty liked the feeling of being needed and appreciated, so by destroying their only form of rescue, they'd have to continue to rely on her. I'm sorry, but that's just wrong. She would rather risk her own life as well as others just so that people will be at her mercy.

However, I do have sympathy for Misty in a way. As a teenager, she was seen as an outcast with no one wanting to be her friend. She was also bullied by some of her peers, with them prank-calling her nonstop. As a teenager and an adult, Misty wants to be accepted and needed. But it's the way she goes about making this happen that's wrong. Besides destroying the flight recorder, remember when the adult version of her cut the battery cables from Natalie's car so that Natalie would be forced to take a ride from her? Those are just two examples, but there are many other terrible things she's done.

But I will say that she does have a caring bone in her body, at least when it comes to Natalie. In the present timeline, it seemed like she genuinely wanted to be Natalie's friend even when Natalie kept pushing her away. She even tried to save Natalie from being shot by Lisa by attempting to inject Lisa with phenobarbital. But sadly, Natalie stepped in front of Lisa, and Misty injected her instead. You can tell how affected Misty was by Natalie's death, and I can only imagine how it'll affect her going forward.

5. Callie

So, here’s how I feel about Callie. I absolutely couldn't stand her in season 1. She was your typical moody teen who acted like her life was so bad. She was constantly being rebellious and was angry at her mom all the time. However, I did cut her some slack after she found out about her mom having an affair on her dad. I don't know if I would’ve tried to blackmail my parent like Callie did if I was in this situation, but Callie definitely had the right to be angry at Shauna.

In season 2, she began to grow on me when she and Shauna teamed up. She became less bratty, and this is when I realized there was a reason for her acting out. Shauna and Jeff aren’t the best parents, and to me, it seemed like Callie just wanted her parents to be more attentive. I mean, there's a complete change in Callie once Shauna actually starts to open up and be more honest with her.

But what’s unfortunate is that it looks like Callie could be headed down a dark path after helping her parents cover up Adam’s murder and after shooting Lottie. I don't know if you noticed, but it looked like Callie smirked as she watched the ambulance take Lottie away in the season 2 finale.
