2. Shauna

I know I'm going to get a lot of hate for this, but Shauna is an awful person. I love both actresses who play the characters, though!

Shauna literally slept with her best friend’s boyfriend, and that was wrong on so many levels. Look, I'm not saying Jackie was a saint because she was far from it, but if Shauna was so fed up with her self-centeredness or wanted to stop being in her shadow, she could've just spoken up or ended their friendship. Instead, she kept taking the abuse and letting things fester until she reached her breaking point and ended up committing the ultimate betrayal. And she really isn't that different from Jackie when it comes to being selfish. There are several scenes throughout the series showing Shauna only caring about her own feelings and no one else.

But something that bothers me about Shauna as a whole is how impulsive she is. She does terrible things and then drags others into her mess. She also acts very entitled and expects others to coddle her and give her grace. I'm still baffled by how the other survivors just let her beat Lottie to a pulp because she had just lost a baby and needed an outlet. I mean, she couldn't find something else in the cabin to take her anger out on? She never ended up apologizing to Lottie, either. They just moved on like it didn't happen.

And don't get me started on her parenting skills… Telling Callie that she should have slept with the dirty cop to erode his credibility was just beyond belief. There's also that scene in season 1 where she touches herself intimately in her daughter’s bed. That's definitely weird behavior to me.

1. Matt Saracusa

Matt is the worst character in Yellowjackets because he's super creepy. He's supposed to be a cop but does questionable things. He literally seduces and dates Callie (an underaged girl) to get information about Adam’s murder without his superiors’ approval. He also breaks into Randy’s motel room to see if he and Shauna were actually having an affair, but he didn't have a warrant. Everything he does is totally unethical, and I hope somehow he gets locked up next season or doesn't return.
