Yellowjackets doesn't play around when it comes to getting its viewers all in their feels. Here's a list of some of the most saddest moments in the thriller series so far.

8. When Ben attempts to commit suicide in season 2, episode 7

The Yellowjackets, including Coach Ben, have been in the wilderness for a very long time at this point in the series, and the strange happenings going on, starvation, etc., are driving Ben mad. While the Yellowjackets had already committed cannibalism by eating Jackie's body, Ben was too disgusted to participate and had been pretty much living off no food. He even begins having flashbacks of his boyfriend Paul, but then he starts creating fantasies in his head of Paul that are in no way good. He imagines Paul basically telling him to end his life.

A mentally unstable Ben accepts what he thinks is his fate and leaves the cabin to commit the horrible deed. But just as he's about to jump from a cliff to end his life, he's confronted by Misty, who tries her best to talk him off the ledge. Although Misty is successful in stopping Ben, this scene made me very emotional. It completely broke me when Ben asked Misty to help push him off the cliff. Also, when Misty broke down and began begging Ben not to jump. She had just lost her friend, so she wasn't mentally in a good place. Honestly, props to the actors (Steven Krueger and Sammi Hanratty) for giving such outstanding performances in this scene.
