5. When Travis hangs himself in season 2, episode 2
Travis's death was tragic because he didn't actually mean to hang himself to the point where he died. Like all the other survivors, Travis left the wilderness still affected by what all happened there. He was even convinced that the "darkness" of the wilderness followed him back to civilization. In an attempt to get rid of the darkness, he came up with a plan where he'd hang himself until he lost consciousness.
He believed that he'd be able to confront the darkness this way and ask it what it wants. Lottie shows up to stop him, but Travis can't be convinced. He tells her that she could either help him by pushing the button to bring him back down when he loses consciousness, or he'll do it himself. Sadly, the button gets stuck, and Lottie is unable to bring an unconscious Travis down.
4. When Shauna loses her baby in season 2, episode 6
Although Shauna didn't initially want to keep her baby, she eventually accepted her fate and was prepared to take on the role of being a teen mom. However, while undergoing a long and difficult labor, the baby did not survive childbirth and Shauna was absolutely devastated.
This was sad to watch because Shauna had thought she'd had her baby, but she was actually in a short coma and imagining this. When she finally awakened from her coma, she was told by her teammates that the baby hadn't made it and that she had lost a lot of blood. This devastating blow causes Shauna to become filled with anger, leading to her taking it out on her teammates. But as I mentioned earlier, I still don't condone the violence she showed towards Lottie.
