Yellowjackets doesn't play around when it comes to getting its viewers all in their feels. Here's a list of some of the most saddest moments in the thriller series so far.

2. When Javi tragically dies in season 2, episode 8

Javi was probably the most unproblematic character in the show, and the writers went and killed the poor boy off. He meets his tragic demise when he tries to help Natalie escape from the other survivors who are hunting her down. He tells Natalie that he knows where she can hide. It's a secret hiding place located inside a tree in the woods where Javi was staying for those two months he was gone. As they near the hiding place, the ice under Javi's feet begins to break, and he falls into the water below. Natalie races to save him but stops when Misty tells her the others will get her instead if she rescues him.

After Javi drowns in the frozen lake, the other survivors run quickly to pull him out. They then take him back to the cabin and cook him before consuming him. It was heartbreaking to watch Travis mourn the loss of his younger brother. He and Javi had somewhat of a rocky relationship, but they were in a good place at the time of Javi's death. It'll be interesting to see how Javi's death affects a young Travis in the upcoming third season.

1. When Natalie dies in season 2, episode 9

I was completely thrown for a loop when Natalie died in the season 2 finale. I didn't see her death coming at all. I thought the present-day characters wouldn't be messed with for a while. I mean, adult Travis died, but he didn't play much of a big part in the present timeline anyway. However, killing off Natalie will surely shake things up for Yellowjackets season 3.

Filled with guilt from all her past actions and wanting to do something good for once, Natalie chooses to step in front of Lisa as Misty runs to inject Lisa with phenobarbital. Everyone around stares in disbelief at what just happened. Misty tries to keep Natalie from falling to the ground, but Natalie quickly succumbs. She then holds Natalie's lifeless body while sobbing loudly.

Out of all the remaining present-day survivors, Misty will most likely be the most affected by Natalie's death since she and Natalie had grown closer. But I'm really curious to see how the Yellowjackets will cope with Natalie being gone.
