My Adventures with Superman renewed for season 3

As first reported by THR, the DC and Adult Swim Jack Quaid-led animated My Adventures with Superman series has been picked up for a thrilling third season. 

The announcement comes as the sophomore season is already halfway through, and as a fan-favorite character in the Girl of Steel's presence - Supergirl is set to debut this weekend in the fifth episode titled, “Most Eligible Superman.” The latest variation of Kara Danvers will be brought to life and voiced by actress Kiana Madeira (Fear Street Trilogy on Netflix) 

Quaid leads the card and is the perfect blend of camp and heart as the intrepid reporter Clark Kent, bringing a sense of hope and optimism to Superman's ever-growing legacy. Alice Lee as Lois Lane and Ishmel Sahid as Metropolis ace photographer Jimmy Olsen round out the ensemble. 

For those who haven't experienced the series yet, get ready for a unique blend of classic superhero storytelling and modern twists. It's a love letter to the Richard Donner and Christopher Reeve films from the late 70s, with a sprinkle of anime influences. The animation might remind you of Amazon Prime’s 'Invincible', but the heart of the show lies in its careful and respectful adaptation of the Man of Tomorrow. 

In addition to the second season currently airing and the third being greenlit, fans can also check out the ongoing comic adaptation, which acts as an in-between the first and second seasons. On top of that, it’s no secret that Superman fans are in for a treat, as various properties, in the form of James Gunn’s Superman film, are almost done filming. 

At the same time, the CW’s Superman and Lois is about to kick off its farewell tour with a final 10-episode season that will see Tyler Hoechlin and Bitsite Tulloch pass the torch to David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan.
