Amongst what came out of Phase Four of the MCU, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, though praised by critics, had a lukewarm reception from audiences, placing season 2 in the middle of the void. According to Collider (per Comicbook), there is a surprising update.

It turns out that one of the producers for Attorney at Law, Wendy Jacobson, shared a few ideas of what story could take She-Hulk next. The She-Hulk producer mentioned keeping the show grounded while juxtaposing it with the multiversal approach the MCU has taken.

“What I love about She-Hulk is just kind of being in this character’s everyday life. It’s a woman in her thirties, trying to navigate her life and her career and her friendships, and oh, she just happens to also be able to turn into a Hulk," Jacobson told Comicbook.

“So, I think I would love to explore more of that,” she added before referring to a particular run from the comics. “There’s also a run in the comics where she goes into space and she’s adjudicating cases for The Living Tribunal. So, I either want to be super, super grounded in L.A. or I want to take her out into the multiverse, or into the universe.”

From the ideas that have been shared by the She-Hulk producer, it sounds like at least ideas are being explored for season 2. It will be a while before we hear of Attorney at Law being granted the green light. This writer hoped for something during San Diego Comic-Con but unfortunately, there was no update.

The most challenging aspect is for producers to go to backers and justify spending three times the budget they usually would on a gargantuan blockbuster film on a superhero legal comedy on the small screen. Aside from the show’s creator, Jessica Gao, who is unlikely to return as head writer and executive producer on the show as there have been rumors of a clash behind the scenes more than what had been presented on THR between Gao and Kevin Feige.

Will Tatiana Maslany return as She-Hulk?

The best question to ask is will Tatiana Maslany be allowed to reprise her role as Jennifer Walters aka She-Hulk aside from her self-titled series, but within other appearances across the MCU? Fans of the character are concerned due to Maslany’s statement about Marvel Studios and their stance on Season 2. In response to whether it will happen, the actress said: “I don’t think so. I think we blew our budget, and Disney was like ‘No thanks’.”

While Tatiana Maslany shared her thoughts on what studio heads at Marvel and Disney have reviewed about the show, what about her interest in the role? Would she want to reprise the role? At this point, Maslany has several upcoming projects according to her IMDb page. In addition to voicing Aquaria on Invincible, she has three films and a series in the works.
