Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair, and Cody Rhodes make history as WWE 2K24's cover stars

When Triple H took over, things changed in WWE. The biggest change has been how superstars are promoted. The days of only the stereotypical superstar reigning supreme are over. Hunter’s made it a point to give worthy superstars a chance regardless of whether they fit the once-typical mold. When they succeed at becoming famous/infamous (depending on your character), they’re rewarded. Things like title shots and starring TV and movie roles become a reality. Or, if you’re Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair, you make history.

Triple H had Cody Rhodes, Bianca Belair, and Rhea Ripley fly out for what they thought was to shoot content for WWE 2K. Instead, they were told they were there for a photo shoot to be the cover stars for WWE 2K24. Cody will be on the standard edition. Meanwhile, Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair will be on the deluxe edition, becoming the first women to be featured on a WWE 2K cover.

Both Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair were surprised by the announcement.  Belair couldn’t contain her excitement. For a while, it looked like she was waiting for someone to prank her. When reality set in, she couldn't stop smiling. Belair's joy also came from the fact that her brother would get to buy WWE 2K with her on the cover.

Rhea Ripley was thrilled as well. She smiled and attempted not to swear, but couldn’t hold it in. All of her hard work over the years has paid off. She was easily the best WWE Superstar in 2023. Being on the cover was a no-brainer. Thankfully, she was rewarded for being great.

WWE 2K24 is scheduled for release on March 8, 2024. The game will celebrate 40 years of WrestleMania. Four decades of WrestleMania is major and deserves a historic cover.

I can’t think of anyone more deserving for the deluxe edition of the game than Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair. Thanks to their dedication, perseverance, and constant improvement, history was made. Now, more women will realize their WWE goals are obtainable.
