By Diana Nosa
If you're not watching Solo Leveling, we hate to admit this, but you might be missing out on the real standout of the Winter 2024 anime season!
Known best for its powerful story of a weak young boy turned supernaturally strong hero overnight, Solo Leveling is a good choice for those looking to root for someone who is in desperate need of some character development. Even if that person is yourself! After each episode, you're sure to be left feeling inspired to take on the next biggest challenge of your life.
Of course, many other elements in this anime make it worth watching. Maybe you'll find something personal to you. All the more reason why you need to learn when and how to watch Solo Leveling so you aren't left out of the loop any longer!
When do new episodes of Solo Leveling release?
Mark your calendars! New episodes of Solo Leveling release every Saturday at 12:30 p.m. EST/9:30 a.m. PST on Crunchyroll!
At the time of writing, there are five episodes of the anime available to stream. While you don't need a subscription to watch the earlier episodes of the anime (with ads), if you want an ad-free experience and the ability to watch newer episodes, you will need a premium subscription to stream.
Aside from Crunchyroll, there aren't many options to stream this 2024 anime. Even so, we're keeping our eyes on Hulu, as this streaming service is most likely to acquire Solo Leveling for their platform. Hopefully, this proves to be true. But until then, Crunchyroll is the place to go!
How many episodes will there be in season 1?
As reported by Coming Soon, Solo Leveling will have a total of 12 episodes in season 1. This gives the first season an ample number of episodes to introduce fans to the plot of the story and set up what's to come in future seasons.
Perhaps going forward, this anime will add more episodes to future seasons. After all, Solo Leveling could easily go for many seasons, so it would be cool to watch more than 12 episodes in a single season to get the anime adapted quicker.
Now that you're all up to date on when you can expect new episodes to release, all that's left to do is to tune in every Saturday to catch up on Solo Leveling. See you there!
