Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League cut scenes, ranked
4. Superman
This was the most anticlimactic conclusion to a fight. After beating one of the strongest and most iconic comic book characters of all time, there’s no big hurrah. They realize they killed the Man of Steel, high five, and then their celebration is cut shirt. Sure, Braniac intervening was important, but there could have been a way to do both. Instead, it felt more meh than mighty.
3. Green Lantern
Deadshot took out the guy who sent him to jail and got a chance to talk down to him before he delivered the kill shot. Even though John Stewart deserved better it was a nice moment for a not-so-nice guy.
After Deadshot delivers his final line of being out on good behavior, King Shark responds that they were not out on good behavior. A very Suicide Squad ending.
2. The Flash
Captain Boomerang hated the Flash because he kept losing to the speedster. After years of beatdowns and jail sentences, Digger got a victory. Of course, it doesn’t just end with Barry Allen’s death. Boomerang takes things a step further by peeing on the dead hero’s body. When he’s asked to stop, the other Suicide Squad members see that he's...gifted.
1. Batman
Batman wasn’t killed by Joker, Ra's al Ghul, or even Jason Todd. He’s shot at point-blank range by his arch-nemesis former sidekick, Harley Quinn. She even mentions that it seemed off that she delivered the kill shot. As sad as it was, the speech Harley gave the Dark Knight before executing him was perfect.
