4 Arrowverse heroes who definitely won't be back in Superman and Lois season 4

Superman and Lois' final season will officially end the Arrowverse era, but don't be expecting these DC TV titans to appear.

The Arrowverse as we know it has officially come to an end, but one remnant of it remains (albeit not for long). The CW's shared universe of superheroes was a juggernaut of television for a decade but two major factors were responsible for its recent culmination: Warner Bros. Discovery's launch of DC Studios and The CW's sale to Nexstar.

The Flash aired its ninth and final season last year, which brought an end to all of the Arrowverse's canon adventures that were set on Earth-Prime. But it left offshoot Superman and Lois behind for fans to enjoy for another year. Though that show is not set on the same earth as its Arrowverse counterparts, it was envisioned as a Supergirl spinoff with Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch reprising their roles as the title characters. And with that, it's the last shred of that universe left for fans to enjoy.

Unfortunately, it seems as if nobody's in the business of making good decisions anymore, as Superman and Lois will end this year with its fourth and final season, meaning that the final chapter in the Arrowverse's multiverse will come to a close. Naturally, fans are hoping that this will present the creatives with an opportunity to bring back some Arrowverse favorites and wrap up some unresolved storylines.

While we might see David Ramsey again as the Superman and Lois version of John Diggle, we shouldn't expect to see these Arrowverse heroes.
