4. The DCEU Supergirl suit

Worn by: Sasha Calle

While Supergirl didn't appear in the main DCEU's timeline, she did make an appearance in The Flash when Barry Allen's time-travelling shenanigans ended up producing a completely different timeline. Portrayed by Sasha Calle, she was called upon by the Scarlet Speedster(s) and a veteran Batman to help defeat Zod, and she had the perfect Kryptonian uniform to fly into battle with.

The upper half of this suit is absolute perfection. Not only does it take its cues from the Lara Lane-Kent iteration of Supergirl from the comics, it pays tribute to the DCEU's Man of Steel, opting for the same Superman symbol that Henry Cavill's Kal-El sported throughout his movies.

The shoulders and upper body area are draped in red to match the cape, while the lower torso is all-blue, a color which continues further on down the suit. The contrast between both colors frames the "S" symbol really well, giving it the spotlight.

It's a marvellously modern suit that feels right for the DCEU. The only issue with this one is that there is too much blue on the lower half of it. I get that we decided not to go with the skirt but there should have been some kind of belt (or accents where the belt should be) just to add more character to the suit; or it should have had red boots just to add a splash more color to it.

It's not a big deal, but the suit is so close to perfection that a bit more character in the lower half would have went a long way. Nevertheless, it's still a great suit.
