6. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania

As a Marvel fan, I truly enjoyed Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania as there was a lot to love about the movie.

The cast was phenomenal and again brought their incredible chemistry with Kathryn Newton injecting the seasoned ensemble with a shot of new blood that left us excited for what the future might hold for her Cassie.

The movie also brought the same signature humor we’ve come to expect from the Ant-Man franchise with lots of laughs to be had across the movie. Some hated the MODOK twist but I might be in the minority of fans who actually enjoyed the humorous spin and the Avengers joke that came with his demise.

However, as an overall film, it lacked the same polish as the first films and that we’ve come to expect of Marvel Studios. The entire plot of the movie seemed like a miss given these are supposed to be some of the most intelligent characters in the MCU, yet they somehow allowed themselves to be sucked into the Quantum Realm in the dumbest of ways.

The ensuing adventure to get home falls short of the Marvel standard and Kang’s easy defeat seemed to undercut any momentum Loki season 1 had built. Though that’s probably a good thing all things considered.
