The Batman, Saltburn, and Barry Keoghan's best movies ranked
5. The Green Knight
It's no secret Keoghan has appeared in several strange — and I mean that in all the best ways — films, and The Green Knight is one of those. The David Lowery (A Ghost Story) movie is a reimagining of the 14th-century poem "Sir Gawain and the Green Knight" following King Arthur's knight and nephew. It stars the wonderful Dev Patel as Gawain, with Alicia Vikander, Joel Edgerton, Ralph Ineson, Kate Dickie, Sean Harris, Sarita Choudhury, and Keoghan playing supporting roles.
The Green Knight is an epic trip, to put it lightly, as we follow Gaiman's adventure to prove himself to his family and find the titular figure. The movie is absolutely beautiful, with surreal visuals in a well-constructed medieval setting. The attention to detail is great. And while the movie goes off the rails a little bit for me, it's still unlike most productions, which is worth celebrating.
Keoghan plays a scavenger who Gaiman meets along his journey in The Green Knight.

4. Dunkirk
Dunkirk is always towards the top of my list of favorite Christopher Nolan movies. The 2017 film follows different perspectives during the Dunkirk evacuation of World War II that occurred over the span of a few days in 1940. Showing us the way several different characters reacted to the event from different times, the signature nonlinear Nolan style keeps you on the edge of your seat waiting to see what will happen next.
Dunkirk features an ensemble cast of incredibly talented actors, including Tom Hardy, Kenneth Branagh, Cillian Murphy, Fionn Whitehead, Mark Rylance, Jack Lowden, Michael Caine, Tom Glynn-Carney, and Keoghan. The movie is totally immersive with very controlled directing paired with strong writing. The cinematography is great and the performances are another high point.
In Dunkirk, Keoghan plays a boat hand named George who aids in saving a soldier out at sea.
