Damn, it feels good to be out of the strikes era and seeing our favorite shows go back into production so they can entertain us even more. Earlier this week, we had confirmation that Kaitlyn Dever has been cast in the crucial role of Abby for the second season of HBO and Naughty Dog's lovechild, The Last of Us season 2. Well, in super exciting news, Young Mazino from Netflix's Beef is also joining The Last of Us season 2 as Jesse.

The news broke this morning as confirmation of his casting went viral on multiple platforms and websites.

In The Last of Us Part 2, Jesse is an awesome character who's super important in his community, a key character who brings a unique and compelling dynamic to the story. He's a level-headed, kind-hearted, and reliable individual who is deeply rooted in his sense of responsibility and loyalty, especially towards his friends Ellie and Dina.

His calm demeanor is often a balancing force amidst the chaotic, intense, and emotional journey of the game. According to reports by Variety, the show creators are really hyped about having Manzino on board, saying he's one of those actors who just grabs your attention right away. I honestly can't wait to see him bring Jesse to life.

The Last of Us is a hit show based on the epic video game series of the same name, which is all about survival in a post-apocalyptic world. Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey are already nailing it as Joel and Ellie. And the show's not just popular – it's award-winning, with Emmys and Golden Globe nods.

It's awesome how it's bringing together such a talented cast. Season 2's shaping up to be epic with Kaitlyn Dever and now Young Mazino on board - I can't wait to see who they'll bring in next.
