The 2023 sequel to Captain Marvel, The Marvels, is now available to stream on Disney Plus.

Upon its initial release, The Marvels theatrical run was received with a plethora of mixed reviews from MCU fans and critics. The film stars the return of Brie Larson as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel, Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel and Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau.

The film serves as a sequel to Captain Marvel but is also very much an ensemble affair featuring our three heroes up front and center. Unfortunately, many people fell victim to the “haters” of the film and missed out on experiencing the MCU film in theaters and IMAX like it was meant to be enjoyed and thus the film was one of the poorer outings from Marvel Studios.

Now the narrative changed with the official streaming release of The Marvels on Disney Plus with many first-time watchers finally seeing it for themselves and organically developing their own thoughts and opinions on the film and it’s been such a positive praise for the female-led and directed cosmic adventure.

With the MCU film being easily accessible on streaming, more people are able to watch and rewatch in the comfort of their homes. Fans have taken to X (formerly Twitter) to share their reactions to the film.

All these “I should have seen this in the theater” posts that are happening now. Stop letting Rotten Tomatoes and incels tell you what movies to watch!

Ok, I finally saw The Marvels on @DisneyPlus, and I feel like some of y’all watched a different movie from me. I loved this movie. This is probably the most fun I’ve had watching an MCU project. Seeing all the appreciation for The Marvels 3 months after its release is another prime example of how y’all need to see movies for yourselves and form your own opinions instead of listening to losers who hate on popular things for engagement and clout pic.twitter.com/Hg2dJM8Mej

Still don’t understand those hating on The Marvels (I mean… some of you it’s clear it has nothing to do with the actual movie). The movie is just absolute fun, which I thought that’s what these films are supposed to be.

THE MARVELS is a ton of fun. Its first act, in particular, is a riot. Quippy, quick, and genuinely hilarious, with some surprising cameos and a jaw-dropping mid-credits scene. If you didn't see it in theaters, do yourself a favor and check it out on Disney+ now!! pic.twitter.com/xDo7m0SK8B
