The Tick ended too soon for these 5 characters to make their live action debuts

Amazon Prime Video's The Tick ended too soon in 2019. After only 2 seasons, one of the best superhero shows of the past 10 years concluded before some classic Tick characters found their way into the show.

The Tick ran for two seasons on Amazon Prime Video between 2016 and 2019. The series was funny, well written, and bold. The great action scenes and the genuine characters made it one of the greatest - and most underrated - superhero streaming shows of all time.

The Tick is a classic comic book character, and has been since the '80s, he has been delightfully funny and action packed. Of course, he has had a great cast of characters along with him, so many of which would have been perfect for a season 3 of Amazon's series.

The Chainsaw Vigilante

Ben Edlund created The Tick, and ran the original comic book for 12 issues. Within these issues, The Tick met The Chainsaw Vigilante. The Chainsaw Vigilante is a vigilante set on destroying superheroes. He believes that superheroes only result in people getting hurt, and so he defeats and scares heroes out of their heroic endeavors. Except for The Tick, he's nigh invulnerable, and immune to chainsaws.

The Man Eating Cow

Bovine intervention, The Man Eating Cow has been an ally to The Tick since her first appearance. Eating the criminals is certainly an unconventional approach for a superhero, but The Man Eating Cow makes it work.

The Tick (the other one)

There are actually two characters who go by the name The Tick. Of course, there is the big blue one we all know and love, but there is also Barry. Barry is a tech based superhero, who, loses his title as The Tick after a bout with The Tick. Resentful of The Tick, as well as kind of crazy, Barry is a special piece of The Tick's history.

Paul The Samurai

One of The Tick's best stories was without a doubt when he went up against ninjas. Arthur, The Tick's sidekick was introduced during this arc, as well as Paul The Samurai. Paul swore to defeat evil ninjas, and became a friend of the hero in the process. After defeating the ninjas, Paul stayed in The City with The Tick, due to being unable to afford a flight back to Japan.

Hand Grenade Man

Possibly the strangest superhero of all time, Hand Grenade Man has no powers or skills. Only a hand grenade, which lets him get away with a lot once people know he has it.

The Tick is an amazing superhero, and the Prime Video show was an amazing series. Sadly, we never got the chance to see these great characters and more in live action.
