It's good to be back. Thoughts and feelings echoed by the entire TWD fandom now that Rick Grimes and Michonne have made their long awaited returns to screens. New spinoff The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live reunites Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira on-screen for the first time in six years.

We last saw the pair as Rick and Michonne on the mothership series, with Lincoln departing The Walking Dead in its ninth season and Gurira leaving in its tenth. Though they made brief cameos in the series finale of that show they make their full time return to screens in The Ones Who Live. And the show's premiere episode has only left fans wanting more.

If you have already consumed the first episode of the spinoff, here's what you need to know about episode 2 will air on TV.

When The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live episode 2 comes out

The second episode of The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live will air on AMC next Sunday, March 3, at 9:00 p.m. ET. for viewers watching on the East Coast. For fans watching on the West Coast, it will air on the cable network at 6:00 p.m. PT. However, if you're too excited to wait until the evening's showing on AMC, you can stream the episode on AMC Plus from midnight (ET) on Sunday, March 3.

The TWD Universe has become a fixture of the AMC Plus streaming service, with the original series streaming its last season on there, and original spinoff Fear The Walking Dead doing the same. It has also become the home for new spinoffs, with Dead City setting a viewership record for the streamer, and subsequent spinoff Daryl Dixon going on to break that record. We'll have to wait and see if The Ones Who Live does the same.

Based on the promo trailer for episode 2, which is titled "Gone", the second episode looks like it's going to be Michonne-centric, likely showcasing what she has been up to since we last saw her on the original series. No doubt audiences are going to be in for a stunning performance from Danai Gurira as the sword-wielding survivor, and if the episode is anything like the show's premiere, we're all in for one heck of a treat.

Michonne left the original series when she went out to search for Rick. Up until that point, she had believed that the former sheriff had been killed in the bridge explosion, but new findings indicated that he might actually be alive. And so, she ventured back out into the wilderness in search of him, promising their daughter Judith that she would do whatever it took to find him and bring him home.

So far, the spinoff is definitely exceeding our expectations with a first episode that has already etched itself among the greatest standalone episodes in the TWD Universe thus far. Considering we're talking about a decade worth of 200 episodes-plus across seven TV shows, that's a pretty amazing feat. We can't wait to see what the next ones have to offer, too!
