Speaking of Margot Robbie and Harley Quinn, there's no doubt that Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) is one of the most underrated DC movies. To me, it's one of the most underrated movies, in general, of the last few years!

Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) is another DC movie that was liked by critics and fans, but it still fell short at the box office, much like Blue Beetle. It's just such a bummer, too, because I think this is one of the strongest DC movies of the last few years. It's not quite as good as The Suicide Squad and, say, Wonder Woman, but it's right in the tier below those movies.

Birds of Prey is so unique. It's so funny, and it has a great story. Robbie is one of the biggest and most successful stars of the DCEU. This movie has one of the strongest casts of any DCEU movie, too. I love this movie, and I'm just bummed it's not as beloved as it should be.

It's hard to say why Birds of Prey didn't get the love it deserved. It premiered in theaters in February 2020, which was about a month before everything shut down with the COVID-19 pandemic. That's part of the box office story, but even with those issues, it was still underperforming. That happens, but it's definitely disappointing.

Up next is Wonder Woman!
