One of the most highly anticipated films of 2024 is Marvel’s Deadpool 3 starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman in their iconic roles of Deadpool and Wolverine.

The film is the third installment in the Deadpool film franchise and the first to be officially part of the ever-expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe. The MCU has been going through some rough patches as of late and it’s been a while since fans have been so hyped for a Marvel film. Sources say this will be on the level of Sony’s No Way Home and Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame with the rumors of this third Deadpool chapter to feature a plethora of iconic Marvel heroes from the Fox universe and beyond.

Set to be a big blockbuster summer event the film will feature the leads on an insane and action-packed adventure and could change the course of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we know it.

In a recent interview with The Playlist, director Matthew Vaughn shared his thoughts on the upcoming Marvel film: I know a little bit about it,” Vaughn said of Deadpool 3, “But I’m not allowed to talk about it. But I can just tell you what I know about it. It got me so excited that I will be buying a ticket to its opening weekend because I was laughing and laughing.”

“And I had a little bit of fear at the time because I was like, ‘Oh my god, this sounds like maybe what we’re doing with Kick-Ass, they’re doing,” he continued, perhaps revealing a bit of what his plans might be. “But I think we can both survive.”

Deadpool 3 is directed by Shawn Levy who has worked many times with Ryan Reynolds and also worked with Hugh Jackman. So it’s safe to say the film is in good hands and the chemistry and commitment are going to be strong. Deadpool is a fan-favorite character and the previous two films have performed very well so this is a sure-fire hit if done right.
